Job summary

Walker Plumbing Heating & Air is hiring a Lead HVAC Installer. This leadership role is for a technician with extensive installation experience, strong communication skills, and a commitment to doing things right the first time.

You will lead installation of residential HVAC systems, supervise apprentices, coordinate jobsite logistics, and ensure customer satisfaction while maintaining safe, organized sites and compliance with code.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of HVAC installation experience.
• Prior leadership or crew lead experience preferred.
• EPA Certification required.
• RMGA Certification required.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Ability to pass background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation of residential HVAC systems including ductwork, furnaces, condensers, and thermostats.
• Supervise apprentices and install team members.
• Coordinate jobsite logistics, timelines, and material needs.
• Communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction on completion.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites.
• Ensure all work meets code and company standards.

• Coordinate jobsite logistics, timelines, and material needs.
• Communicate with customers and ensure satisfaction upon job completion.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites.
• Ensure all work meets code and company quality standards.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of HVAC installation experience
• Prior leadership or crew lead experience preferred
• EPA Certification required
• RMGA Certification required
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to pass background check and drug test
