Vertiv seeks a 1st Shift Supervisor - HVAC Lab in Columbus, OH to lead routine testing, set up facilities and instrumentation, and work with engineers to improve test capabilities. The role emphasizes hands-on problem solving and timely completion of tasks.

Requirements include a two-year Associate's Degree plus HVAC experience (or 8+ years directly related), supervisory experience preferred, EPA Universal Refrigerant Handling License, and basic mechanical drawing literacy.

Qualificações

• Two-year Associate's Degree + 5 years OR at least 8 years' HVAC directly related experience.

Responsabilidades

• Set up test facility and instrumentation in response to general instructions.
• Support and collaborate with engineers in activities to structure and develop system testing capabilities and products.
• Analyze and improve existing processes & designs, as required.
• Plan, set up, instrument, and operate products and test facilities.
• Ability to troubleshoot and correct issues.
• Assist in development of solutions or workarounds to resolve defects.
• Work with the engineering and QA teams to understand low-level functions within software or products.
• May assist QA in understanding/developing low-level functional and system integration tests.
• Conduct tests, analyze data and make modifications to units being tested within moderate scope.
• Requires timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Participate in 5S improvement programs
• Other Duties as assigned
