Job summary

Johnson Controls Inc. is seeking skilled HVAC Mechanics to support the growing North American HVAC business. You will perform maintenance, repair and service on commercial systems and collaborate with journeymen and apprentices to deliver high-quality customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years commercial/industrial HVAC troubleshooting experience, including rooftop units, pumps, fans, towers, boilers, chillers, compressors, plumbing.
• Must be a member or willing to join the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry of the United States and Canada, AFL-CIO.
• Must prioritize safety in all forms and be willing to travel 15%–30%.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance, repair and replacement services on commercial heating and cooling systems.
• Provide quotes to customers and support recommendations for efficiency upgrades.
• Assist in commissioning and aftermarket service, including upsell opportunities.
