Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking skilled HVAC Mechanics to support fast-growing North America HVAC service, focusing on light and heavy commercial systems. You will work with the team on installing, maintaining and repairing commercial HVAC equipment while upholding safety standards.

Factory certification through the STA is provided, with incentives and a company vehicle to service customers to high standards. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Must be a member or willing to join UA Local 1 (Plumbing & Pipe Fitting).
• Minimum of three years of commercial/industrial HVAC troubleshooting experience.
• Proficient in mechanical trouble shooting of rooftops, pumps, fans, boilers, chillers.
• EPA refrigerants license, valid state/local license, and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair and replace commercial heating and cooling systems.
• Provide quotes and recommendations for service and upgrades.
• Collaborate with Journeymen, Servicemen and apprentices on jobs.
• Prioritize safety and communicate findings to customers clearly.
