Job summary

Yellowstone Local in Stratford, CT is seeking a full-time HVAC Installer to join Pack-Timco's residential service team. You will install and service central air, heat pumps, boilers, and related systems in homes across Fairfield County, ensuring clean, code-compliant work and excellent customer communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and technical school education.
• 2+ years of residential HVAC installation experience.
• Connecticut HVAC S1, S2, or D2 license preferred.
• EPA Universal certification preferred.
• Experience installing, replacing, and commissioning residential heating and cooling equipment.
• Working knowledge of HVAC installation practices, refrigerant systems, ductwork, brazing, electrical connections, and system startup.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform work in attics, basements, crawl spaces, and on ladders.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and dependable work habits.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Work as an HVAC Installer in Stratford, CT, serving Fairfield County.
• Install residential and light commercial HVAC systems, including central air conditioners, heat pumps, ductless mini-splits, oil and gas furnaces, boilers, and geothermal systems.
• Complete HVAC replacements, system changeouts, retrofits, and new equipment installations.
• Fabricate, install, and seal ductwork, refrigerant lines, condensate drains, and venting.
• Braze and solder piping and complete electrical connections according to manufacturer specifications.
• Perform HVAC system startup, commissioning, refrigerant charging, and performance testing.
• Ensure installations meet applicable local codes, safety requirements, and manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle and professional job site.
• Provide excellent customer service and explain the operation of new HVAC systems to homeowners.
