Job summary

One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning of Mt Airy is seeking an HVAC Installation Technician to perform semi-skilled and skilled installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. You will provide exceptional customer service and educate customers about options and investments when installing in homes.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years of installation experience, takes pride in workmanship, and aims to work with the best professionals in the HVAC industry.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• NATE certification preferred.
• Knowledge of residential HVAC systems and operation.

Responsibilities

• Lerans and implements service system, procedures and ethical practices.
• Proper installation of clients HVAC systems.
• Learn and improve craftsmanship.
• Ability to optimize profitability through time management and inventory control.
• Maintain neat work area and clean vehicle interior and exterior after completion of jobs.
• Complete all driving and related responsibilities safely.

• Delivering a highly professional and quality, PROFITABLE, installation of a HVAC system, so the customer will have no reason to call us back until their next scheduled maintenance.
• Collecting payment from the customer cause if the company don’t get paid, neither do you.

What We Do

All residential HVAC, all day long. Gas furnaces, heat pumps, oil-boilers, geothermal, IAQ, install, maintenance, service, and more. Whatever we do, we do it right. Job Duties

• Learns and implements One Hour service system, procedures and ethical practices
• Proper installation of clients HVAC systems
• Learn and improve your craftsmanship
• Ability to optimize profitability through effective time management and inventory control
• Always maintains a neat work area and inspects that area for cleanliness after completion of each job
• Maintains company vehicle, ensuring that it is always clean on both the inside and the outside

Physical Requirements

• Climbing, heavy lifting, loud noise, crawling, working in confined spaces, pushing/pulling, carrying equipment, bending, turning, kneeling.
• Capability of lifting and carry 75 pounds items.
• Ability to stand, walk, and climb ladders and stairs.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and to maneuver in attics, basements, and crawl spaces to access HVAC units.
• Ability to continually climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl.
• Natural or corrected vision to see and focus for close, distance, peripheral vision with normal depth perception.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge if operational functionality of residential heating, air conditioning, and ventilation equipment
• NATE certification preferred
• Must display strong communication skills and technical competence
• Ability to pass a thorough background check and drug screen
• Clean driving record

Compensation: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
