Job summary

One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning in Maryland is seeking an Installation Technician with at least 2 years of high-quality HVAC installation experience. You will perform installations, maintain a clean, safe work site, and deliver excellent customer service.

The role requires a strong work ethic and the ability to work with a team focused on quality and profitability. Compensation ranges from $17.00 to $22.00 per hour, with benefits including health insurance and a pathway for career growth

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior, successful experience as an Installation Technician in HVAC.
• NATE certification preferred.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a thorough background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Lays out and ensures proper installation of HVAC systems at client locations.
• Learns and implements One Hour service system, procedures and ethical practices.
• Maintains neat work area and cleans after job completion.
• Operates and maintains company vehicle in clean condition.
• Manages time effectively to support profitability and inventory control.

• Having parts/material delivered to you because you we need your head in the game not on the roaD
• Collecting payment from the customer cause if the company don't get paid, neither do you
• Heading to the warehouse with team to get ready for the next day’s install.

What We Do

All residential HVAC, all day long. Gas furnaces, heat pumps, oil-boilers, geo-thermal, IAQ, install, maintenance, service, and more. Whatever we do, we do it right. Job Duties

• Learns and implements One Hour service system, procedures and ethical practices
• Proper installation of clients HVAC systems
• Learn and improve your craftsmanship
• Ability to optimize profitability through effective time management and inventory control
• Always maintains a neat work area and inspects that area for cleanliness after completion of each job
• Maintains company vehicle, ensuring that it is always clean on both the inside and the outside

Physical Requirements

• Climbing, heavy lifting, loud noise, crawling, working in confined spaces, pushing/pulling, carrying equipment, bending, turning, kneeling.
• Capability of lifting and carry 75 pounds items.
• Ability to stand, walk, and climb ladders and stairs.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and to maneuver in attics, basements, and crawl spaces to access HVAC units.
• Ability to continually climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl.
• Natural or corrected vision to see and focus for close, distance, peripheral vision with normal depth perception.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have prior, successful experience as an Installation Technician in the HVAC industry
• NATE certification preferred
• Must display strong communication skills and technical competence
• Ability to pass a thorough background check and drug screen
• Clean driving record

Compensation: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
