Job summary

Johnson Controls seeks an HVAC Install Manager to oversee Controls and Mechanical Installation delivery teams. You will align people, schedules, and financial performance while ensuring safety and customer commitments are met.

You will recruit, coach, and develop team leaders, manage scheduling, and drive continuous improvement across the branch. The role requires travel and close collaboration with customers, contractors, and sales teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction/engineering or related field.
• Seven+ years of progressively more responsible project leadership in building construction.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel based on team locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day execution of Controls and Mechanical Installation delivery teams.
• Support revenue forecasting, billings, collections, and resource planning.
• Assign projects and coordinate engineering, commissioning, and mechanical resources.
• Manage installation scheduling, ship dates, and backlog.
• Set goals and evaluate performance for direct reports.
• Recruit team leaders and engineers as needed.
• Ensure estimating and engineering standards are applied branch‑wide.
• Address customer satisfaction issues and drive timely resolution.
