Job summary

Hiller Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical is seeking a skilled HVAC technician to install and replace systems to code, perform associated electrical work, and provide accurate inspections for clients in Bowling Green, KY. You will calculate job measurements, adhere to state HVAC codes, and mentor apprentices weekly.

This role offers strong benefits and growth opportunities. Valid driver’s license and GED are required; EPA/NATE or HVAC diploma are preferred.

• EPA/NATE HVAC certifications preferred.
• HVAC diploma or certification preferred.
• Driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform all HVAC replacements to code.
• Solder and perform electrical work related to HVAC projects.
• Conduct thorough HVAC inspections and communicate findings.
• Make calculations for HVAC work and for invoicing.
• Know and adhere to all state HVAC code.
• Mentor team members and apprentices weekly.

Job Responsibilities:

Ability to perform all HVAC replacements to code

Ability to solder and perform necessary electrical work associated with the HVAC project

Must be capable of performing a thorough and accurate HVAC inspection and communicating findings to the client.

Ability to perform calculations necessary for HVAC work as well as calculations necessary for invoicing purposes

Must know and adhere to all state HVAC code.

Mentor team members and apprentices weekly on team's performance metrics

Education/Certification Requirements:

Valid driver’s license.

A High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

EPA Certification preferred.

NATE Certification preferred.

HVAC certification or Diploma preferred.
