Job summary

Hiller Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical is seeking an HVAC technician for residential and commercial service, repair, and inspections. You’ll participate in diagnostic checks, document findings, and work with customers to present service options.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma or GED and strong customer service skills. A valid driver’s license and willingness to learn are required; full-time, year-round work with benefits is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years experience in maintenance, troubleshooting and HVAC service preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and insurance approval.
• Strong organization and attention to detail; ability to read blueprints/plans/manuals.
• Excellent customer service and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assists in maintenance and repair of heating, ventilation, and cooling units for residential/commercial customers.
• Assists in HVAC inspection and communicates findings in a written option sheet.
• Completes required service documentation and handles fee collection/delivery to office.
• Transports materials/tools to job site and maintains inventory of tools.
• Keep truck clean, stocked and accurately inventoried.
• Inform a manager if customer does not have HVAC service before leaving.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
