Big Horn Heating & Cooling in Jackson, WY, is seeking a skilled HVAC service technician with 3+ years of installation experience to join our Mountain West team. You’ll install furnaces, heat pumps, AC units, ductwork, and controls, and ensure code compliance while collaborating with contractors and crews.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HVAC installation experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and local codes.
• EPA 608 Certification (Type II or Universal).
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in tight spaces.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Install HVAC systems including furnaces, heat pumps, AC units, ductwork, and controls (must be able to run their own projects).
• Procuring materials, keeping job schedules and crews lined out.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Ensure work complies with local codes, safety standards, and company procedures.
• Communicate effectively with General Contractors.
• Complete job-related documentation and reports accurately.
• Work independently and with other team members and apprentices.
• Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment in safe working condition.
