Job summary

Southern Home Services is seeking an HVAC Install Helper to assist the Lead Install Technician with residential installations, upgrades and replacements. Deliver excellent customer service and ensure a seamless, high-quality experience for every client.

You will follow safety standards, maintain tools, meet schedules, work in tight spaces and in various weather, and support a growing team. Prior HVAC exposure preferred; a valid driver's license and willingness to learn are required.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid driver's license with at least three years driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installing HVAC systems and equipment per standards and specs.
• Perform checks to prevent callbacks and ensure optimal performance.
• Adhere to appliance standards and safety regulations.
• Keep tools, parts, and vehicle clean and organized.
• Protect client property using floor savers and drop cloths.
• Meet schedule and on-call hours; complete jobs timely.
• Work in tight spaces and varying weather; lift heavy objects as needed.
• Operate safely on ladders or scaffolds; perform additional duties as assigned.
