Job summary

Southern Home Services is seeking an HVAC Install Helper to support the lead technician in installing, upgrading, and replacing residential HVAC systems. You will deliver high-quality service and address client needs professionally.

The role requires physical ability to lift up to 50–100 pounds, work in attics and crawl spaces, and stand or walk for extended periods. A valid driver’s license and basic PC skills are expected. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installation of HVAC systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with standards and specifications.
• Conduct checks of installation aspects to prevent callbacks and ensure performance.
• Adhere to appliance standards and safety regulations.
• Maintain tools, parts, and vehicle in a clean, organized state.
• Protect clients' property using floor savers and drop cloths; keep area neat.
• Meet scheduled appointments and on-call hours; ensure timely completion.
• Work in tight spaces and varying weather conditions; lift up to 50/100 pounds.
• Operate safely on ladders and scaffolds; perform additional duties as assigned.
