Job summary

Southern Home Services is seeking an HVAC Install Helper to assist the HVAC Lead Install Technician with installations, upgrades, and replacements in residential properties. You’ll deliver exceptional customer service and ensure a seamless, high-quality experience for clients.

Role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, driving, and working in attics or crawl spaces under various weather conditions. Bilingual (Spanish) candidates are encouraged to apply; EPA certs are a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with at least three years of driving experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Able to read/write effectively and use basic PC applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation of HVAC systems and equipment.
• Check installation aspects to prevent callbacks and ensure performance.
• Adhere to safety regulations and appliance standards.
• Maintain tools, parts, and the vehicle in good order.
• Protect client's property using floor savers and drop cloths.
• Meet appointments and on-call hours; complete tasks timely.
• Work in attics, crawl spaces, and various weather conditions.
• Lift objects weighing 50+ pounds; use ladders and scaffolds as needed.
• Perform duties as assigned.
