Job summary

Area Heating & Cooling, Inc. is seeking an HVAC Install Apprentice for paid training and hands-on experience in residential and light commercial systems. No HVAC experience required, with a clear path to lead installer or service technician roles.

In this role you will learn installation techniques, wiring, ductwork, and system setup while supporting experienced crews on various projects year-round.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• Ability to work in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced installers with residential HVAC system installations.
• Help install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini splits and related equipment.
• Support ductwork installation and job site preparation.
• Develop skills to run installations independently in the future.

What You'll Be Doing

Assist experienced installers with residential HVAC system installationsHelp install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini splits, and related equipmentSupport ductwork installation and job site preparationLoad materials and maintain organized work vehicles and job sitesLearn proper safety procedures, installation practices, and tool usageWork on residential replacement, new construction, and light commercial projectsDevelop the skills needed to eventually run installations independently
