We Care Heating and Air in Orange, CA is seeking an HVAC Install Apprentice to support licensed technicians in setting up and installing heating and air conditioning systems in homes and businesses. You will learn hands-on skills while assisting with ductwork, wiring, and system replacement under supervision.

You will follow blueprints, maintain clean, safe job sites, and document work and time logs. You’ll join customer-facing interactions and safety meetings to build HVAC trade knowledge for a

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Enrollment in or interest in HVAC apprenticeship or trade school program preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Willingness to learn HVAC installation practices and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assist HVAC installers with the setup, installation, and replacement of HVAC systems, including ductwork and wiring.
• Prepare tools, materials, and work areas, and perform basic tasks like measuring, cutting, drilling, and assembling under supervision.
• Follow blueprints, schematics, and project instructions from senior technicians, ensuring all work meets building codes and safety regulations.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites, and document work performed and time logs as required.
• Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers, and take part in training and safety meetings to build your HVAC trade knowledge.
