Job summary

Mid-Ohio Air Conditioning seeks an Inside Sales Representative to translate technician recommendations into accurate estimates and professional proposals covering parts, labor, and subcontractors. You will work with Sales Engineers, technicians, dispatchers, and managers to build clear scopes of work and help close repairs and projects quickly.

Qualifications

Two+ years in estimating, inside sales, service coordination or proposal development.
Knowledge of HVAC service scopes, parts, materials, and labor estimating.
Proficiency in Excel and Word; experience with CRM/ERP tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication; able to explain scope clearly.
Ability to manage many proposals and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail in estimates, proposals, and purchase orders.
Ability to pass background screening and drug testing.
Experience with Oracle NetSuite or Salesforce is a plus.
Familiarity with PM, service labor, and warranty agreement structures.

Responsibilities

Review technician recommendations; interpret parts, materials, labor, and other scope elements.
Produce accurate estimates and professional proposals with a clear scope of work.
Verify pricing against MOAC standards before sending a proposal.
Assist with turnover docs for startups, commissioning, and warranty repairs.
Communicate schedule impact to customers during work performance.
Support Sales Engineers and managers by producing proposals and estimates.
Identify larger sales opportunities and route them to management.
Serve as a contact for customers awaiting proposals or scope clarification.
Coordinate with dispatchers and coordinators to develop accurate proposals.
