Job summary

Johnson Barrow, Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales Engineer to support Outside Sales Engineers in delivering HVAC solutions. The role covers estimating, quoting, customer communication, equipment submittals, and on-site technical assistance.

You will design commercial HVAC layouts, prepare selections and quotes, and provide first-level technical support for installations while managing unassigned customer accounts. This position emphasizes collaboration and timely, accurate service.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Experience with commercial HVAC equipment.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software.
• Understanding of construction and contracting models (Design/Build).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on design and layout of commercial HVAC systems.
• Prepare equipment selections and quotes for Outside Sales team; provide parts quotes.
• Provide first-level technical support for equipment installations.
• Manage customer accounts not assigned to an Outside Sales Engineer.
