Job summary

Johnson Barrow, INC. is seeking an Inside Sales Engineer to support Outside Sales Engineers in delivering HVAC solutions. You will assist with estimating, quoting, and equipment submittals, and provide on-site technical support to customers.

The role includes commercial HVAC system design collaboration, quotes for equipment, and first-level technical assistance, with account management responsibilities to ensure outstanding service.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
• HVAC experience with commercial equipment is advantageous.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design programs is required.
• Understanding of construction and contracting models, including Design/Build, is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on the design and layout of commercial HVAC systems.
• Prepare accurate equipment selections and quotes for Outside Sales; provide parts quotes for replacement equipment.
• Offer first-level technical support for equipment installations and post-installation needs.
• Manage customer accounts not assigned to an Outside Sales Engineer to ensure service excellence.
