Job summary

Johnson Barrow, Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales Engineer in Boise to support Outside Sales Engineers by estimating, quoting, communicating with customers, preparing equipment submittals, and providing on-site technical assistance.

You will design commercial HVAC systems, select equipment, and collaborate on layouts while handling account management and customer support. A Mechanical Engineering degree is preferred, with HVAC experience and AutoCAD proficiency being highly valued.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• HVAC equipment experience highly advantageous.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design programs required.
• Construction knowledge including Design/Build concepts beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Estimate and quote equipment selections for Outside Sales; provide parts quotes for replacements.
• Perform first-level technical support for equipment installations.
• Support Outside Sales Engineers with pre-sale and post-sale activities.
