Job summary

Swan Associates, headquartered in Newington, CT, seeks a full-time Inside Project Manager to lead complex commercial HVAC projects from quotation through closeout. You will work with our Strategic Solutions team to deliver on-time, on-budget results while maintaining meticulous records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and equipment schedules.
• Previous experience in HVAC, construction, building systems, or a related industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple large-scale commercial HVAC projects, monitoring costs, pricing, scope changes, schedules, and deadlines.
• Perform equipment take-offs, prepare estimates and proposals, and assist with cost analyses.
• Coordinate with customers, Sales Engineers, Logistics, Leadership, installing contractors, and internal teams to drive project execution.
• Conduct site visits to support installing contractors and confirm procedures are followed.
• Identify and resolve project issues involving equipment, order discrepancies, backorders, scheduling, scope, and delivery.
• Maintain understanding of Swan’s product offerings and market conditions.
• Track lead times, releases, and delivery schedules to keep projects on track.
• Manage submittals, approvals, and order-processing to keep records accurate.
