Job summary

Gulfstream Strategic Placements, LLC seeks an experienced HVAC Project Manager to lead major mechanical and plumbing construction projects. The role involves mentoring engineers and field crews, developing project estimates, and ensuring on-time material delivery and cost control.

Responsibilities include managing schedules, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and subcontractors while maintaining strong relationships with general contractors and owners.

Qualifications

• Local qualified candidates preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree required (Mechanical Engineering or construction).
• 3+ years on large HVAC/mechanical projects.

HVAC Project Manager position with a large mechanical and plumbing construction company

We are a large growing mechanical contractor that works on many large mechanical hvac and plumbing projects. This is a full-time position with great benefits, retirement package, and plenty of room for career growth.

Responsibilities:

• Meet and mentor all project engineers and field crew.
• Find, Estimate, and Manage HVAC Construction Projects.
• Build and maintain a strong relationship with GC’s and Owners.
• Gather best pricing and on-time delivery of materials from vendors.
• Ability to manage and approve: schedule, billings, submittals, RFI’s & change orders, select and monitor subs.

Requirements:

• Local
• Familiar with state building and HVAC codes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or construction.
• 3+ years of experience working for an HVAC Mechanical Contractors on large commercial projects ranging from 50k to $30M.
• Strong knowledge in BlueBeam, MS Project, Microsoft Office, and/or Quickpen/Accubid preferred.
