Gulfstream Strategic Placements, LLC is helping a large mechanical and plumbing construction company fill an HVAC Project Manager role in the San Jose area. You will lead and mentor project engineers and field crews on major HVAC and plumbing projects.

Responsibilities include finding, estimating, and managing projects, building strong relationships with general contractors and owners, ensuring on-time material delivery, and overseeing schedule, billing, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or construction is required.
• 3+ years’ experience with HVAC contractors on large commercial projects.
• Familiarity with state HVAC codes.
• Local candidates preferred.

HVAC Project Manager position with a large mechanical and plumbing construction company

We are a large growing mechanical contractor that works on many large mechanical hvac and plumbing projects. This is a full-time position with great benefits, retirement package, and plenty of room for career growth.

Responsibilities:

• Meet and mentor all project engineers and field crew.
• Find, Estimate, and Manage HVAC Construction Projects.
• Build and maintain a strong relationship with GC’s and Owners.
• Gather best pricing and on-time delivery of materials from vendors.
• Ability to manage and approve: schedule, billings, submittals, RFI’s & change orders, select and monitor subs.

Requirements:

• Local
• Familiar with state building and HVAC codes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or construction.
• 3+ years of experience working for an HVAC Mechanical Contractors on large commercial projects ranging from 50k to $30M.
• Strong knowledge in BlueBeam, MS Project, Microsoft Office, and/or Quickpen/Accubid preferred.
