Job summary

Qualifications

• High school or trade school with courses in air conditioning, welding, shop mechanics and electricity.
• Refrigeration Engineers Society Type I, II certification required as per 40 CFR part 82; current state electrical license preferred.
• Refrigeration Certification and 3 years of building control experience can substitute for Refrigeration Certification and electrical license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, replace and repair air conditioning and refrigeration systems, air handling and distribution systems, steam distribution, medical vacuum systems and medical gas systems.
• Monitor, adjust, and program Energy Management System to maintain peak efficiency of utilities.
• Serve as a resource for contractors and staff on projects as needed.
