Job summary

St. Mary's Medical Center is seeking an HVAC II for the Facility Operations Department. The Maintenance Mechanic HVAC II performs maintenance, replacement, and repair of HVAC, air handling, steam, medical vacuum and gas systems, and related electrical operations.

Responsibilities include monitoring and programming the Energy Management System to maintain peak efficiency on utility systems. The role requires 6–8 years of experience in HVAC and electrical work, high school or trade school

Qualifications

• High school diploma or trade school with courses in air conditioning, welding, shop mechanics and electricity.
• Six to eight years of experience in air conditioning, electrical wiring and equipment repair.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints; familiar with maintenance techniques and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, replace and repair air conditioning and refrigeration systems and related equipment.
• Monitor and adjust Energy Management System to optimize efficiency of utility systems.
• Serve as a resource for contractors and staff on projects as needed.
