Job summary

Allegiance Group, partnered with a Queens-based mechanical contractor, seeks an experienced HVAC Foreman to supervise field crews on active construction sites across the five boroughs. You will coordinate daily installation activities, read drawings, and ensure safety and high-quality workmanship.

The ideal candidate will have proven HVAC foreman experience on high-rise residential, hotel or commercial projects, with strong leadership and communication skills to manage multiple trades on site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as HVAC Foreman or similar role.
• Experience on high-rise residential, hotel, or commercial projects.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC installation and related mechanical systems.
• Previous experience supervising field crews.
• Commitment to safety and quality on site.
• NYC construction experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead HVAC/mechanical crews on active construction sites

• Oversee HVAC installation, piping, ductwork and associated mechanical systems
• Coordinate with General Contractors, Superintendents and other trades
• Monitor project progress and ensure work remains on schedule
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality control
• Identify and resolve field issues efficiently
• Ensure work is carried out in accordance with OSHA and site safety requirements
• Coordinate materials, tools and equipment required for the work
• Communicate progress, challenges and requirements to project management
• Assist with scheduling and manpower planning
• Mentor and develop less experienced members of the field team

Allegiance Group is partnered with an established mechanical contractor based in Queens, New York, who are looking to add an experienced HVAC Foreman to their growing team.

The contractor delivers mechanical and HVAC installations across the 5 Boroughs, with a strong portfolio of high-rise residential, hotel, commercial and large-scale building projects.

As an HVAC Foreman, you will be responsible for supervising field operations, coordinating mechanical crews and ensuring HVAC installations are completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

You will work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors and other trades to keep projects on schedule and ensure work is delivered in accordance with plans and specifications.

Requirements:

• Experience working on high-rise residential, hotel and/or commercial projects
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and specifications
• Strong knowledge of HVAC installation and mechanical systems
• Previous experience supervising field crews
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to coordinate multiple trades and activities on a busy construction site
• Commitment to safety and quality
• NYC construction experience is highly desirable
