Job summary

Coral Hospitality, Inc. is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for Unicoi State Park & Lodge.

This role supports our Engineering team on the 2nd shift (3:00 PM–11:00 PM) to keep the lodge, guest rooms, cabins, restaurants, and public areas in excellent condition. The ideal candidate has hands-on HVAC experience and strong general maintenance skills, with a focus on troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and safety.

Qualifications

Hands-on HVAC experience is required.
Experience in hotel/resort or facility maintenance is preferred.
Ability to troubleshoot problems and determine appropriate repairs.
Proficient with electrical, plumbing, mechanical, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
Willingness to work the 2nd shift (3:00 PM–11:00 PM).
Strong safety orientation and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Perform general maintenance and repairs throughout the lodge, guest rooms, cabins, restaurants, and public areas.
Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair HVAC systems and equipment.
Complete maintenance work orders from various departments in a timely and professional manner.
Perform basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, mechanical, and painting repairs.
Participate in the property's preventive maintenance program.
Inspect HVAC and building equipment and identify potential issues before they become larger problems.
Change HVAC filters, belts, bearings, and other components and lubricate equipment as needed.
Troubleshoot unusual equipment noises, vibrations, and performance issues.
Assist with special projects, including furniture repairs, shelving, storage solutions, painting, and property improvements.
Respond professionally and promptly to guest maintenance concerns.
