Job summary

Control Solutions Inc. seeks a skilled Field Service Technician to install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems for residential and commercial clients. The role includes supervising building management system components and ensuring on-site safety and quality during service visits.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in HVAC service, familiarity with Niagara platform protocols, and strong problem-solving and customer-service skills. A valid driver’s license is required for on-site travel.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; HVAC certification or technical training preferred.
2+ years of experience in HVAC service, repair, or installation.
Experience with control systems, Niagara platform (Distech, JCI, Honeywell, Alerton, etc.) preferred but not required.
Experience with BACnet, Modbus and related protocols.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems for residential and/or commercial clients.
Install, maintain, repair, and supervise site building management systems and components.
Review job assignments, prepare for site visits, and ensure proper parts are available.
Submit quotes and complete service tickets; coordinate with service manager for follow-ups.
