Job summary

Bahnson Mechanical Systems is seeking an HVAC Service Technician to maintain and repair complex heating and cooling systems and related control systems for industrial and commercial settings. The role emphasizes safe operation, adherence to policies, and strong diagnostic capabilities.

With 5+ years of HVAC experience, you will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and coordinate with the Service Coordinator to schedule inspections and service tasks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HVAC system servicing, installing, troubleshooting and repair.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Working knowledge of the HVAC service industry.
• Working knowledge of federal, state and city regulations and guidelines.
• Has EPA approved CFC Certification.

Responsibilities

• Will be working on rooftop HVAC units, heat pumps, DX systems, pneumatic and electrical controls and commercial/industrial cooling systems.
• Diagnose causes of equipment breakdowns, test parts, disassemble/assemble, and perform repairs.
