Job summary

A1 Mechanical Heating & Cooling in Columbus, OH is seeking an experienced Field Supervisor Level 1 to oversee daily field operations, support HVAC technicians and installation crews, and ensure work meets safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has strong HVAC knowledge, leadership skills, and a hands-on problem-solving approach, with good customer communication and the ability to keep multiple jobs moving. A company vehicle is provided.

Qualifications

• HVAC experience required.
• Residential HVAC knowledge and service procedures.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Valid driver''s license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily support and supervision to HVAC technicians and installation crews.
• Visit job sites to monitor progress, workmanship, and safety.
• Help troubleshoot equipment issues and provide technical guidance when needed.
• Ensure installations and service work meet company standards and applicable codes.
• Communicate with customers, technicians, and management to resolve issues.
• Assist with scheduling, job coordination, and keeping projects on track.
• Perform quality checks and follow up on completed work.
• Help train and develop technicians to improve performance and efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, customer satisfaction, and overall field operations.
• Maintain a safe, professional, and organized work environment.
