Job summary

Sierra Air is seeking an on-site Service Technician to diagnose and repair residential HVAC equipment in customers’ homes. Travel to job sites is required, with a focus on first-time-right service and clear communication with customers and the office.

Responsibilities include maintaining tools and vehicle, completing paperwork, and following up on service tickets. Eligible for a comprehensive benefits package and retirement plan after probation.

Qualifications

• NATE certification required within 1 year of hire.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 required.
• Minimum 3 years HVAC experience.
• Professional communication with customers and staff.
• Must have valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Must pass drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and maintain residential HVAC equipment on-site.
• Keep work area and vehicle organized and clean.
• Attend training to maintain field expertise.
• Coordinate with dispatcher for scheduling and updates.
• Fill out service tickets and collect payments when required.
• Recommend equipment, service agreements, and duct cleaning when appropriate.
