Job summary

DOC Services Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on Commercial HVAC and light industrial equipment across a 3-hour radius from your residence. You will drive to client sites, manage parts inventories, and keep diligent service records.

We value a detail-oriented, highly organized professional with strong communication skills, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. OSHA safety adherence is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Commercial HVAC-R equipment.
• EPA Certification.
• Experience with electro-mechanical and/or food equipment is a plus.
• Willingness to cross-train on additional equipment for year round work.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Proficiency with MS Office products and basic phone apps.
• Ability to provide own set of tools.
• Familiarity with lockout tag out procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting electrical components of HVAC-R gear.
• Repair and preventive maintenance of HVAC and refrigeration units.
• Identify root causes by observing equipment and listening for issues.
• Provide daily reports and communicate with store managers and DOC Supervisor.
• Replace defective parts using hand/power tools.
• Maintain company vehicle and comply with OSHA/DOC safety rules.
