Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a field-based HVAC technician to service and maintain commercial systems at customer sites in Fargo. You will commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up equipment using technical knowledge and on-site blueprints, with duties including coordinating with team leaders and managing resources.

The role requires typically 5+ years HVAC experience, EPA certification, a valid driver’s license, and proficiency with MS Office and handheld devices.

Qualifications

• HVAC experience is required or preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and handheld devices.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• EPA Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with team leader and customer to understand on-site installation and repair requirements.
• Acts as the direct customer contact and oversees products and equipment on assigned projects.
• Uses hand-tools and blueprints/engineering specs to diagnose and repair units.
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and occasional overnight stays as needed.
• Upholds safety standards and tracks company assets at the site.
