Job summary

Hoffman Mechanical Solutions is seeking an HVAC Service Technician to provide preventative maintenance, start-up, warranty, and repair services on light commercial and industrial HVAC equipment. The role emphasizes strong customer service and may require occasional after-hours call-outs.

The candidate should have an Associate’s Degree or HVAC certificate and at least five years of related experience, plus EPA certification, a valid driver’s license, and proficiency with MS Office for reporting

Qualifications

Associate’s degree or equivalent in HVAC or related field.
Minimum five years of related experience preferred.
EPA universal certification or card for refrigerant handling required.
Valid driver’s license and ability to pass pre-hire requirements.
Operates computer software and MS Office programs as needed.

Responsibilities

Service a variety of HVAC equipment and ensure customer satisfaction.
Read and understand blueprints, manuals, and specs to diagnose and repair units.
Use hand-tools and specialty equipment typical of the HVAC trade.
On-site diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance services.
Prepare for on-site work by reviewing layouts and coordinating trades.
Document work via field service reports and logs; submit paperwork timely.
