Job summary

Hoffman Mechanical Solutions seeks an HVAC Service Technician to perform preventative maintenance, start-up, warranty, and repair on light commercial and industrial air conditioning equipment with a strong emphasis on customer service. This full-time, non-exempt role requires reading blueprints and manuals, diagnosing issues, coordinating on-site work, and occasional after-hours calls or overnight stays.

• Associate’s Degree or technical certificate in HVAC.
• Minimum of five (5) years related experience preferred.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions and short correspondence.
• EPA refrigerant handling certification required.

Responsibilities

• Service HVAC products and equipment and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Read and understand blueprints, equipment manuals, and engineering specifications to diagnose and repair units.
• Use hand-tools and specialty equipment typical of the commercial HVAC service trade.
• Diagnose and repair systems at customer sites and report deficiencies.
