AAON, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Field Service Technician I to support installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC equipment at customer sites.

You will document work, assist customers with operation, and contribute to safety and service excellence in a dynamic field environment. Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years in technical service, HVAC, or related field.
• Preferred: associate degree or technical training in HVAC/electrical/mechanical systems.
• EPA certification or HVAC-related certifications are preferred.
• Experience with HVAC equipment, controls, or refrigeration systems is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Assist in installation, startup, maintenance, and repair of HVAC equipment at customer locations.
• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
• Diagnose basic mechanical, electrical, and controls issues; escalate complex problems.
• Document service activities, parts usage, and customer interactions accurately.
• Communicate service status, findings, and recommendations to customers professionally.
• Operate and maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicles.
• Support equipment commissioning and startup activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
