Job summary

AAON, Inc. is seeking an entry-level HVAC Field Service Technician in Tulsa, OK. You will assist with installation, startup, maintenance and repair of HVAC equipment at customer sites, ensuring safe operation and high service quality.

You will document work, diagnose routine issues, and communicate findings to customers while following safety standards. Under supervision, you will support field operations, coordinate with technical teams, and participate in ongoing training to develop expertise

Qualifications

Requires a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years in technical service/HVAC or related field
Preferred: associate/technical degree or vocational training in HVAC or electrical/mechanical systems, EPA certification
Experience with HVAC equipment, controls, or refrigeration systems is desirable
Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical and mechanical systems and ability to read manuals
Strong communication and customer service skills and ability to work independently

Responsibilities

Assist in installation, startup, maintenance and repair of HVAC equipment at customer locations
Diagnose routine mechanical/electrical/controls issues and escalate complex problems
Document service activities, inspections, repairs, parts usage and customer interactions
Communicate service status and recommendations to customers professionally
Maintain tools, equipment and service vehicles in compliance with safety standards
Support warranty/service investigations and coordinate with teams to resolve issues
