Job summary

Hoffman Mechanical Solutions, Raleigh, NC, seeks an Area Manager to lead the local Technical Services Team and own day-to-day operations. You will coordinate HVAC service technicians, dispatchers, and admin staff to ensure efficient field work and strong customer satisfaction.

The role requires 5+ years HVAC experience, solid leadership, and ability to manage field operations with emphasis on profitability, safety, and client relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years HVAC experience, preferably in service management.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to travel occasionally and manage field teams.
• EPA refrigerant handling certification required or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day operations of the local Technical Services Team.
• Coach and mentor HVAC Service Technicians and possibly Field Operations Coordinators.
• Oversee work assignments with service coordinators for efficient start-ups and service calls.
• Monitor job costs and advise on billing with local Service Administrator prior to posting invoices.
• Ensure profitability and maintain strong relationships with the Sales Team and customers.
• Ensure proper documentation, timekeeping, and compliance across the team.
