Job summary

Radiant, based in Austin, TX, is seeking an experienced HVAC Field Supervisor to lead installation teams, ensure quality, safety, and code compliance on new residential systems. This hands-on role focuses on field leadership, problem-solving, and coaching technicians in the field.

You’ll work closely with the Installation Manager to review jobs each morning, support complex installations, and ensure standards are met while staying connected to the technical side of the trade.

Qualifications

3–5+ years of HVAC field experience.
Strong residential HVAC installation experience.
EPA Certification and applicable state licensing as required.
Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record.
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
ServiceTitan experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform quality control inspections on new HVAC system installations.
Ensure installations meet quality, safety, performance, and code requirements.
Run warranty and recall calls related to new installations.
Diagnose installation issues and coordinate corrective actions.
Provide hands-on technical support to installation and service technicians in the field.
Coach installers on proper installation practices and customer communication.
Review jobs with Installation Manager each morning to plan field workload.
Support crews on complex installations and challenging calls.
Verify airflow following ductwork and system installations.
Meet with inspectors as needed.
Assist with sizing and planning for large duct replacement projects.
Communicate recurring installation concerns to management for training.
Build relationships with manufacturer reps to stay current on equipment.
