Radiant Plumbing & Air Conditioning in Austin, TX seeks an experienced HVAC Installation Manager to lead and elevate our residential installation team. You will drive quality, safety, and customer satisfaction while managing field operations and staff development.

You will recruit, train, and retain top installation talent, ensure cost-effective scheduling and performance, and build a culture of accountability and growth within Radiant’s install department.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop HVAC Lead Installers, Apprentices, QC Field Supervisors, and Install Coordinators.
• Recruit, interview, hire, train, and retain installation talent.
• Oversee daily installation operations, scheduling, capacity, and crew performance.
• Ensure installations meet quality, safety, code, and customer experience standards.
• Provide hands-on coaching and training when needed.
• Develop apprentices into confident Lead Installers.
• Monitor job performance, labor, materials, and costs.
• Identify issues and implement solutions.
• Lead daily huddles and team meetings.

We're looking for an experienced HVAC Installation Manager who knows how to lead people, drive quality, and run a successful residential HVAC installation department.

What You'll Do

• Lead, coach, and develop HVAC Lead Installers, Apprentices, QC Field Supervisors, and Install Coordinators.
• Recruit, interview, hire, train, and retain top installation talent.
• Manage daily installation operations, scheduling, capacity, and crew performance.
• Ensure every installation meets Radiant's standards for quality, safety, code compliance, and customer experience.
• Provide hands‑on field support, technical coaching, and training when needed.
• Develop apprentices into confident, successful Lead Installers.
• Review job performance and control labor, material, and installation costs.
• Identify problems quickly and put solutions in place.
• Reduce callbacks through strong training, accountability, and quality control.
• Lead daily huddles, team meetings, and one-on-one coaching.
• Build a culture where people are held accountable, recognized for great work, and given opportunities to grow.

What We're Looking For

• 2–5+ years of HVAC install management experience.
• Strong residential HVAC installation experience.
• Previous leadership, supervisor, or management experience strongly preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC equipment, installation practices, troubleshooting, and code requirements.
• Proven ability to lead, train, coach, and hold teams accountable.
• Understanding of job costing, labor, materials, productivity, and profitability.
• EPA Certification.
• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
• ServiceTitan experience is a plus.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
