Job summary

Radiant, Austin’s bold plumbing, HVAC, and electrical service provider, is seeking a skilled HVAC Install Manager to lead and grow the installation department.

You will recruit, train, and supervise lead installers, apprentices, and coordinators, while controlling costs and ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction on every job. A strong field presence and leadership mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• 2-5+ years of HVAC install management experience.
• Strong residential HVAC installation experience.
• EPA Certification.
• Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record.
• ServiceTitan experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop HVAC lead installers, apprentices, QC field supervisors, and install coordinators.
• Recruit, interview, hire, train, and retain installation talent.
• Manage daily installation operations, scheduling, capacity, and crew performance.
• Ensure all installations meet quality, safety, code, and customer experience standards.
• Provide hands-on field support, and training as needed.

What You'll Do

• Lead, coach, and develop HVAC Lead Installers, Apprentices, QC Field Supervisors, and Install Coordinators.
• Recruit, interview, hire, train, and retain top installation talent.
• Manage daily installation operations, scheduling, capacity, and crew performance.
• Ensure every installation meets Radiant's standards for quality, safety, code compliance, and customer experience.
• Provide hands‑on field support, technical coaching, and training when needed.
• Develop apprentices into confident, successful Lead Installers.
• Review job performance and control labor, material, and installation costs.
• Identify problems quickly and put solutions in place.
• Reduce callbacks through strong training, accountability, and quality control.
• Lead daily huddles, team meetings, and one‑on‑one coaching.
• Build a culture where people are held accountable, recognized for great work, and given opportunities to grow.

What We're Looking For

• 2-5+ years of HVAC install management experience.
• Strong residential HVAC installation experience.
• Previous leadership, supervisor, or management experience strongly preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC equipment, installation practices, troubleshooting, and code requirements.
• Proven ability to lead, train, coach, and hold teams accountable.
• Understanding of job costing, labor, materials, productivity, and profitability.
• EPA Certification.
• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
• ServiceTitan experience is a plus.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
