Job summary

SpectronRx is a growing CDMO based in Indianapolis, Indiana, seeking an experienced HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our facilities team to maintain and repair building HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related systems at multiple sites, ensuring safe, compliant operation and minimal downtime.

You will perform preventive maintenance, collaborate with management and contractors, maintain accurate records, and support cleanroom and essential equipment upkeep while adhering to cGMP requirements

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Three to five years of related maintenance experience.
• EPA Section 608 certification.
• Experience installing cable and working with low-voltage systems and controls.
• Knowledge of cGMP requirements and applicable FDA regulations.
• Medical gas systems experience.
• Ability to identify issues, determine required repairs, and plan maintenance schedules.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, supervisory, and project-management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day HVAC system maintenance for SpectronRx facilities and equipment.
• Evaluate HVAC systems and facilities to identify required maintenance and repairs.
• Direct contractors or self-perform work to ensure maintenance, repairs, and established procedures are completed properly.
• Perform timely repairs and complete preventive maintenance according to established schedules.
• Collaborate with site management on building safety, security, and emergency preparedness efforts.
• Perform preventive maintenance, including cleaning filters and coils, checking refrigerant levels, inspecting ductwork for leaks, calibrating thermostats, and testing electrical connections.
• Maintain an appropriate inventory of spare parts.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work, including parts used, labor hours, and system performance.
• Maintain and perform minor repairs to cleanrooms and essential equipment.
• Perform light electrical and plumbing repairs and maintenance.
• Maintain the interior and exterior of facilities.
• Set a consistent example of effective leadership, clear communication, and integrity.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
