Job summary

Lilly, headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to support the Lilly Medicine Foundry startup and ongoing GMP operations. The role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining basic and complex HVAC systems, ensuring safety, environmental and quality compliance, and effective cross-team collaboration during rapid site growth.

The position requires 3+ years of mechanical HVAC experience, EPA certification, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of mechanical experience in an HVAC industrial environment.
• EPA Certification.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Perform all work in compliance with global and local Safety, Environmental, and Quality procedures.
• Install, repair and perform preventative maintenance on basic heating and cooling systems.
• Install, repair and perform maintenance on complex heating and cooling systems.
• Balance flow in air handling systems to meet design specifications.
• Repair and perform preventative maintenance on process and comfort chiller systems.
• Preventative maintenance on coils for HVAC.
• Inspect and test HEPA filters and related systems.
• Be certified in the use of CFC recovery equipment.
• Maintain CFC records for usage and losses.
• Support communications between operations and site customers.
• Document all work in alignment with cGMP Good Documentation Practices.
