Responsibilities

• Assist in routine maintenance of HVAC equipment.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment, steam, gas and water lines, and related HVAC systems.
• Carry out preventive maintenance tasks such as lubricating machinery, replacing belts and filters, and cleaning equipment in boiler, chiller, pump, AHU and other mechanical rooms.
• Follow directions to learn operating procedures for HVAC equipment on campus.
• Participate in in-service training courses and on-the-job instruction for HVAC operation and engineering.
• Clean parts, equipment, areas, and paint HVAC equipment and related areas.
