Job summary

DNE is seeking a Commercial Estimator to support HVAC project quoting and cost estimation from bid receipt through submission. The role analyzes mechanical plans, evaluates system capacity, and ensures code compliance while collaborating with customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders.

The candidate should have a bachelor's degree or higher, basic HVAC knowledge, and strong skills in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher is required.
• HVAC knowledge is preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Ability to learn and effectively use CRM platforms and other business systems.
• Basic understanding of the refrigeration cycle.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration abilities.
• Positive, flexible attitude and good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates by analyzing Mechanical/HVAC plans and project requirements.
• Receive requests for quotations and prepare timely responses.
• Collaborate with customers, sales account managers, and engineers to determine system requirements.
• Plan and modify product configurations to meet customer needs.
• Generate submittals with accurate drawings and product data.
• Provide technical support to customers, sales teams, and branch personnel.
