Staff Perm in Irving, TX seeks a Commercial HVAC Estimator to review plans, perform quantity takeoffs, and prepare detailed proposals to support sales and project success.

You will analyze schedules and technical documents to ensure compliance and accuracy while handling bid preparation, pricing, and order processing with precision.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical/industrial training beyond high school preferred.
• 3 years HVAC Estimator experience or 3 years Commercial HVAC Technician experience.
• Strong math, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; ability to learn new programs and tools.
• Highly detail-oriented with excellent accuracy in work.

Responsabilidades

• Review plans and specifications to prepare accurate quotes and estimates.
• Analyze construction processes, schedules, and technical documents to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Support Outside Sales Engineers by assisting with equipment product selections and value engineering options.
• Enter customer and product information into company systems with a high degree of accuracy.
• Provide pricing and product information to internal teams and customers.
• Communicate daily with internal team members and vendors; limited external customer contact.
• Use computer-based pricing and selection tools to prepare bids and proposals.
• Perform administrative tasks related to project management, including order processing and documentation.
• Maintain a professional customer service demeanor while balancing multiple deadlines.

This position focuses on reviewing construction plans and specifications, performing quantity takeoffs, and preparing detailed proposals to support the sales team. You will analyze project schedules and technical documents to ensure compliance and accuracy, while managing administrative tasks related to project management and order processing.

Job Details

• Job Type: Full-Time Direct Hire
• Location: Irving, TX 75039 (4 days onsite, 1 day remote)
• Education: High School Diploma/GED required - (technical/industrial training preferred)
• Travel: Minimal (1% - occasional overnight travel for training)
• Salary Range: 50k to 65K DOE - plus commission

Required Qualifications

• 3 Years' HVAC Estimator experience or 3 Years Commercial HVAC Technician or combination.

• Basic understanding of HVAC mechanical equipment and concepts preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications; ability to learn new programs and tools.
• Highly detail-oriented with excellent accuracy in work.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple bid deadlines independently.
• Professional communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Environment

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
• Regular movement throughout the office to access files, equipment, and supplies.
• Frequent use of office equipment, including computers, calculators, copiers, phones, and printers.
• Repetitive hand and finger movements required for computer use.
• Noise level ranges from low to moderate.
