Stevens Equipment Supply in Phoenix, AZ, a Daikin Industries, Inc. member, seeks an HVAC Estimator for the Phoenix area. The role covers plan takeoffs, load calculations, and coordinating site visits to capture the proper scope of work.

The ideal candidate is well organized, hands-on, and proficient in computer estimating systems. Responsibilities include developing HVAC system estimates, attending pre-bid walkthroughs, and collaborating with sales and project teams to ensure accurate budgets

Qualifications

• 5+ years of estimating experience in the HVAC industry.
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and other construction documents.
• Experience with estimating software and systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Motili Contractor Relations to identify HVAC installers who are capable and willing to bid the labor for the project.
• Accurately estimate plan/spec and design/build HVAC systems using computer estimating systems and other related software.
• Maintain estimating logs and unit costs for all projects.
• Perform site surveys and attend pre-bid walkthroughs.
• Interact with the sales and contractor relations and project management teams to ensure all projects are performed under budget and according to plans and specifications.
• Preform Load Calculations
• Create Manual D duct design
• Perform equipment specification
• Participate in additional projects to support ongoing business needs
