Job summary
Air Force HVAC in Southeast Florida is seeking a detail-oriented HVAC Estimator to price installs, replacements, and repairs for residential and light commercial systems, including VRF and rooftop units. The position offers a base salary range of $65,000–$85,000 with health, dental, and vision benefits, PTO, and potential for a company vehicle.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years HVAC estimating experience.
- HVAC field service experience for both commercial and residential systems.
- Strong knowledge of VRF, VAV, and commercial HVAC configurations.
- Proven ability to build estimates that close and protect margin.
- Experience presenting proposals to customers.
Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site assessments to evaluate scope and system requirements.
- Develop accurate estimates for residential and light commercial jobs.
- Price jobs using pricing structures, materials, labor, and margin targets.
- Prepare tiered proposal options (good/better/best) for customers.
- Coordinate with operations to clarify scope and manage changes.
