Energy Jobline ZR in Las Vegas, NV seeks an experienced HVAC Estimator to prepare cost estimates for commercial and residential HVAC projects. You will review drawings, specs and bid documents, and collaborate with project managers, vendors and clients to ensure competitive proposals.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in HVAC estimating, strong knowledge of systems and codes, and proficiency in estimating software and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HVAC estimating experience on commercial projects.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, mechanical construction, and codes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specs.
• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Position: HVAC Estimator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced HVAC Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for commercial and/or residential HVAC projects, reviewing project plans and specifications, and collaborating with project managers, vendors, and clients to ensure competitive and profitable bids.

Responsibilities

• Review construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and prepare detailed cost estimates.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Prepare and submit competitive proposals and bid packages.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and field personnel.
• Maintain accurate estimating records and cost databases.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed.
• Identify value engineering opportunities to improve project competitiveness.

• Associate's degree or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
