Job summary

Goodman Manufacturing is seeking an HVAC Estimator to prepare accurate estimates for plan/spec and design/build projects. You will perform quantity take-offs, assist with equipment sizing, and support the project team to ensure alignment with specifications.

The role requires 1-3 years in HVAC estimating, a High School Diploma or GED, and HVAC vocational training or certification. Travel up to 25% may be required; growth within a fast-paced environment is encouraged.

Qualifications

• HVAC knowledge and fundamentals required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints/drawings with guidance.
• Experience with estimating software and MS Office.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate HVAC estimates for plan/spec and design/build projects.
• Perform quantity take-offs and assist scope development for HVAC systems.
• Support equipment sizing and selection under guidance from senior team members.
• Assist sales by supporting submittals and product selections for air distribution equipment.
• Maintain estimating logs, quotes, and track material/labor costs.
• Attend internal training to grow technical knowledge and industry insight.
• Travel up to 25% as required for site surveys and pre-bid walkthroughs.
